Our Ladies of Charity members are:
We are women of all ages, members of Holy Family parish, from Plum, Penn Hills, Verona and Oakmont. We are women of all professions, homemakers, and retirees who are motivated to serve others by the spirit of St. Vincent de Paul, St. Louis de Marillac, and St. Elizabeth Ann Seton.
Our mission is to provide Vincentian leadership to women acting together against poverty. We assist local associations to continue, expand, and improve the spirit of their charitable work for all ages of men and women. The Ladies of Charity minister to the spiritual and material needs of those who are ill, elderly or financially stressed in our local area.
Our motto is "to serve rather than be served, in humility, simplicity and charity."

Our Ladies visit parishioners in nursing homes and the homebound, offer outreach to the poor in our community, and work in cooperation with the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
We donate food to the Warming Center downtown in January, give Christmas and Valentine cards to nursing homes, and donate to Prison Ministry downtown. Other projects include military donations in the Spring, backpacks and school supply drive in later summer to local schools, and our annual fundraiser, the Christmas Cookie Sale in December.
We also volunteer and work with the Parish Social Ministry on various projects including the Remembrance Mass in November, Angel Tree in December, Holy Family Parish Festival, and the Flea Market at St. Irenaeus. We pray the rosary at nursing homes and at funeral masses.
